ABOUT KRISTINA:

 

Kristina is a family law attorney who began her legal journey after experiencing her own divorce without representation. Motivated by that challenging experience, she pursued family law to support others navigating similar uncertainty. After two years in litigation, she recognized that traditional court processes often caused more harm than good and shifted her focus to non-adversarial approaches.

With guidance from her late mentor, Kevin Scudder, Kristina committed to Collaborative Law, cooperative practices, and mediation support—never litigation. She is dedicated to reducing conflict and helping families resolve issues with compassion and respect.

Kristina earned her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law and also holds a degree in Transformational Leadership from the School of Theology and Ministry. This unique combination enables her to meet clients where they are and guide them through change with empathy and clarity. She especially welcomes non-traditional families.

Outside of her practice, Kristina sings with the Resounding Love Interfaith Gospel Choir (an interfaith, inter-racial, LGBTQ+ affirming choir), writes creatively, and enjoys life on a micro-farm in Renton with her spouse, three dogs, and two cats.
